Music Club Austin, formerly Wednesday Morning Music Club,  is a community of music lovers and performers. It has supported classical music in Austin for over 100 years. 

Our monthly meetings provide performance opportunities for our members and their collaborators as well as a forum for discussions of all subjects related to music.  

We support young musicians by holding  a yearly competition for high school student performers  and a bi-annual competition for opera singers who are getting started with their careers.

  The club is an affiliate of the Texas Federation of Music Clubs (TFMC) and of the National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC). It is also a member of TFMC District VI.

The Club publishes a monthly newsletter, Noteworthy, for its members from October through May,

MCA relies on modest annual dues, augmented by contributions, to cover its meeting place rental and other administrative costs. The Club is run entirely by member volunteers.

Music Club Austin is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation.
